Reference: Colours

Few days back neta called me ‘the most unrepentant person in life’ he has ever known. Knowing the way he knows me coupled with the fact that he meant it made me think. Thinking is something I cannot avoid  and more often then not me and my actions are the most thought of in my own world. I tried to bounce it off some others and found various shades to the argument.

Me personally I don’t think its is as simple to say. Although here I am questioning one of my own long standing tenets of ‘over-simplifying’ things for the sake of argument and clarity but bloody hell this is about me. :) Indulge me for a moment.

Yes I have had a colorful life by normal standards with a complicated mixture of good, bad and ugly thrown in. and it is also just as true saying I carry no grudges – personal or otherwise..Well let’s say mostly I carry no grudges. Except for what TJ says is my ‘self pity’ mode :) anyways in a world where geniuses assume earth to be a circle for calculation’s sake I can call myself pretty much a ‘no grudges’ guy.

But also you are what you want to be. I have such intense desire to be happy that I move ahead. I am so hopeful about the awesome things I am meant to do in life. Hell no it’s not materialistic. Obviously there is a effort in being or becoming the person we all are. Take for example look at the nearest bright thing you see. I see a stool with a bright blue top in my living room. Now this is blue because when white light falls on it, it absorbs all other colours except blue and so to speak ‘throws’ out blue. But while you might argue that it discarded blue and absorbed every other colour of the spectrum, it can also be said in another way. I can argue it actually accepted ‘blue’ as its colour and hence sent it across to you while doing away with all other colours. Think about it.

Things appear differently from different frame of references. That’s one thing which probably makes me the flexible person that I am. Well and the same ‘frame of reference’ will also teach me to say ‘as of now I am’ :)
